Troop 37 Beaver Creek Preserve Camp

Beaver Creek Preserve is Troop 37's camp.  It is located nearby in East Nantmeal Township near Glenmoore about 20 minutes from the Elverson Boro Hall.  It is a field and woods surrounded by woods.  It was formerly a rod and gun club.

Since Troop 37 doesn't use this camp 100% of the time, it is being made available to other scout troops and similar organizations.  Please use the Beaver Creek Reservation Request Form or contact the Troop 37 Beaver Creek Coordinator if you would like to arrange an outing at Beaver Creek Preserve.  This is private property so please make proper arrangements before attempting to use.  Also please clean-up after any use (leave no trace).

Facilities

• Parking - in grass at the top of the field by entrance
• Moderate size pavilion - includes tables and lights (powered with your own generator if desired)
• A grill may be available
• A number of picnic tables close to pavilion (table renovation in the works)
• 1 Porta-pottie (not in the best of shape).  During some months, we may already have an additional rented one on site.  Otherwise, we suggest renting one until we can get the one we have in better shape.
• Small burn pit for campfire etc. (make sure leaves and debris are cleared away before starting fire)
• Volleyball area
• Shooting backdrop and berm (currently closed until renovations can be done)
• Sloped area for amphitheater-like events
• Open field for camping
• Flag poles
• NO well for water (need to bring own water)

Fee

• TBD but probably a donation will do
